NOTE: Due to COVID-19, we are currently only accepting visiting students within the state of Texas that do not have a local Diagnostic Radiology residency program and we are reasonably considered to be the nearest residency program.
Our program offers both a two-week and four-week visiting student rotation where MS4 students are able to participate in both diagnostic and interventional procedures. MS4 students are required to complete a short 15 minute case report during their time on service.

Medical students can apply for a visiting student rotation through Visiting Student Learning Opportunities (VSLO) AAMC website. We offer specific rotations in body imaging, general radiology, neuroradiology, nuclear medicine, pediatric imaging, and research. Applicants can find a full list of these by searching the VSLO website for TX A&M HSC COM-Temple for institution and Radiology-Diagnostic for specialty. Once accepted for a rotation, applicants can further tailor the visiting rotation to meet their specific needs.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our program coordinator, Melisa Harris Pates whose contact info can be found under the contact link at the top of the page or to Jennifer Little at Jennifer.Little@BSWHealth.org.
