Shout out to our BSW Temple Radiology leadership and program coordinator! They just attended the 74th annual Association of Academic Radiology (AAR) conference. Our amazing program coordinator Lisa presented at the meeting and our program director Dr. Schnitker received the APDR lifetime achievement award. Dr. Desai and Dr. Elliot also attended and are making strides to improve our residency program. Thank you for all you do! Congratulations Dr. Schnitker!

Happy PI Day! Today marks 10 years of the BSW radiology residency Pie Day Celebration. Thank you Lisa for the pies! I couldn't get a pic before everyone dug in.

Congratulations to our department chairman Dr. Mark Montgomery, the 2026 recipient of the TRS Gold Medal. This is a peer nominated award recognizing individuals for their outstanding meritorious achievements and contributions to radiology and radiologists in Texas. His late father, Dr. John Montgomery, received the same distinguished award in 2015. It is the highest accolade bestowed by the TRS upon one of its members. #TRS2026
